Privacy Policy

The CorpComms Awards, which are run by Hardy Media, take your privacy seriously and will only collect and use your personal information to provide you with the products and services that you have requested.

We are committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), along with the UK Data Protection Act.

Personal data

For the purposes of the CorpComms Awards, we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store personal data when needed to process applications and to contact shortlisted entrants, to arrange the ceremony and publicise the event.

Applicants will be asked to provide their name, contact details, job title and the company or organisation for which they work.

We use this information to facilitate your entry and send direct communications regarding the process. It is stored on a secure, password protected database and is retained so that we can easily contact you.

We also collect personal information, such as names, organisations and dietary requirements, for all attendees at the CorpComms Awards.

Online payments via Visa, American Express or Mastercard are handled through Stripe. Payment is taken immediately upon entry. As a result, all credit card data is processed and stored by Stripe, which is responsible for storing your financial information securely.

We do not directly collect or process your debit or credit card information, except in limited circumstances when you provide us with details over the phone, and we input these details into Global Payments. We do not retain a copy of your debit or credit card details.

Hardy Media does not store any financial information.

How we use personal information

We may use your personal information to communicate with you about future awards programmes or related events, for record keeping purposes, or to improve the awards process.

We may also undertake direct marketing of other services or future events that we are hosting. We send our email newsletters and event updates through a third-party content provider.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other parties.
